I just came across the book Brand for Talent: Eight Essentials to Make Your Talent As Famous As Your Brand.

Although the author’s focus is on attracting, retaining, and engaging workers, as a person working in academia I had a different perspective.  Maybe the “talent brand” in my setting has to do with “who” you are, not just what your institution is.  As each of us participates in communities of inquiry and practive (e.g., via this blog) we are also promoting ourselves as “talent” and improving the talent brand of our institutions.
